BOISE -- We celebrate our nation's 231st birthday on Wednesday.
Everyone is talking about what they're doing on the 4th of July and if
you haven't made plans yet, you've got plenty of options.
There are a lot of places in the Treasure Valley holding celebrations,
but the biggest will be in Ann Morrison Park.

Ada County has released details (pdf document) for their upcoming summer Mosquito Abatement plan. Up to date information about the county wide mosquito traps can be found on their interactive web site.
Several Public Service Announcements providing more information are also available online.

Meridian is celebrating Dairy Days this weekend. There is currently a carnival located by the Speedway, which will be open through Saturday. Decorated cows around town will be competing for the favorite of Dairy Days attendees, awarded on Saturday. A variety of free performances will be given Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Storey Park. Other events include a parade, a race, and other contests.
